Meet the West Covina Team Behind Fielding ADU West Covina
The crew you see on an ADU or garage conversion in West Covina is the same crew from start to finish. No subs shuffled in mid-project, no phone tag with a rotating cast of strangers. Reed Calloway put this team together with a simple filter: people who work clean, communicate plainly, and treat a backyard in Azusa or a garage off Merced like it’s their own street. Every one of them has passed a background check and shows up in a uniform. That sounds small. It isn’t. You know exactly who’s on your property, every day.
Our People

Reed Calloway, Owner
Reed has been building additions and accessory dwelling units since he started swinging a framing hammer in his early twenties, and he’s been running Fielding ADU West Covina since day one. He’s the person who walks your site first, reads your plot map, and tells you whether the city will want a setback variance before you’ve spent a dime. Reed is the one who insists the price goes in writing before any work starts. He’s also the reason every project carries The Garrison Standard, inherited from the parent company founded in 2006: show up in the window, price in writing, by the book, leave it clean, stand behind it for a year. When he’s not on a job site, he’s usually checking framing on a project in Hacienda Heights or arguing with a plan checker over a side-yard setback on a Wedgewood lot. He’ll tell you the permit process in West Covina straight, even the parts you won’t like. That’s the point.
Marisol G., Lead Technician
Marisol runs the day-to-day on our larger additions and full ADU builds. She came up through rough framing and finished carpentry, then moved into running sites about six years ago. She’s the one who catches a wall out of square before it gets sheeted, and she’s fluent in both conventional framing and the panel systems used by prefab platforms like Abodu, Cover, and Plant Prefab. Marisol holds a current OSHA 30 card and keeps the site log tighter than most city inspectors expect. On weekends, she builds furniture in her garage in Valinda, which is why her reveal work on built-ins comes out the way it does.
Danny T., Senior Installer
Danny is our go-to for garage conversions because he can handle the parts most crews stumble on: raising the floor, reworking the header for a new exterior wall, and tying a converted garage into the existing roofline without it leaking. He’s been doing residential remodels in the San Gabriel Valley for over a decade and knows how 1950s and 1960s tract homes in West Covina are actually put together, which matters when you’re cutting into one. Danny is our main point person on Tuff Shed-style structures and has installed more James Hardie siding than anyone else on the crew. He keeps a small notebook in his back pocket with lumber takeoffs from every job he’s ever done. He says it’s faster than his phone.
Elena R., Service Coordinator
Elena is the voice you’ll most likely hear when you call (559) 238-9583. She schedules estimates, tracks permit submittals with the City of West Covina, and keeps every project’s paperwork straight, including the written price and the written one-year guarantee. Elena has worked in residential construction coordination for eight years and can usually tell you, off the top of her head, what stage a given job is in and when the next inspection is scheduled. She’s the reason a live person answers at noon and at midnight. When a homeowner calls with a question mid-build, Elena gets the answer from the crew before the end of the day. She grew up in Baldwin Park and knows every shortcut down Amar Road, which matters more than you’d think when an inspector changes a time.
Chris M., Apprentice
Chris started with us two years ago as a laborer and has been earning his way toward lead installer. He’s the one hauling lumber, snapping chalk lines, and learning the difference between a good subfloor and one that gets called out. Chris is currently working through his carpentry apprenticeship coursework and shadowing Danny on garage conversions. He grew up in West Covina and went to South Hills High, so when he says he wants to build ADUs for the same neighborhoods he grew up in, he means the actual streets. You’ll see him on nearly every job, usually early, usually with the radio set to something the rest of the crew complains about.
One Standard, Every Job
Fielding ADU West Covina is an independently owned and operated member of the Garrison Partners family, and the people above are the ones who carry that. The Garrison Code isn’t a poster on a wall. It’s five habits: show up in the window, put the price in writing, build by the book, leave the site clean, and stand behind the work for a year. Every crew member can tell you what that means in practice because they do it on every project. If something fails inside those 365 days, one of these people comes back and corrects it at no charge. Not a different crew, not a franchise hotline. The same faces you saw on day one. That’s the whole idea.
